Judi's grandkids spent a Texas summer on a Georgetown backyard she described as "a boring weedfest." She wanted a space her multi-generational family could actually live in — and one that would survive a few dozen sets of small running feet.
We delivered a hardscape concrete-paver patio sized for a Saturday family gathering, anchored at one edge with a built-in seat wall that doubles as the kids' improv balance beam. The lawn area got replaced with pet-friendly synthetic turf — drainage-backed, antimicrobial cool-touch infill — so grandkids can chase each other without tracking mud through her kitchen.
The project ran through 2021-2022. "We chose Hill Country Outdoor Living based in part on the good reviews we saw, and we like the design. We are working with Mike and, although this was initially postponed due to COVID, once we were able to get back together, Mike and the HCOL team really turned our backyard from a boring weedfest to the design of a striking and safe outdoor mecca for our family.
